Privacy
Short version: we collect an email address if you give us one, we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that doesn't track you across the web, and booking is handled by Vagaro under their own policy.
The newsletter
If you sign up, we collect your email address. That's the only thing the form asks for and the only thing we keep.
We use it to send shop news, appointment openings, barber stories and the occasional offer. We don't sell it, rent it or share it with anyone else.
The list is managed by Beehiiv, who process the address on our behalf. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also ask us to remove you by calling the shop.
Booking an appointment does not sign you up. The two systems are separate, and we won't add you to the list without you asking.
Booking
Appointments run on Vagaro. When you book — whether through the calendar on this site or on their site directly — your details go to Vagaro, not to us. We don't receive, store or have access to your booking information or any payment details from this website.
Their privacy policy covers that data: vagaro.com/privacypolicy .
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages get visited and which buttons get used, so we know what's working. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and doesn't follow you to other websites.
We look at totals, not individuals. That's also why you won't get a cookie banner here — there's nothing to consent to.
Who else is involved
Three companies, and that's it:
- Vagaro — appointments and payments
- Beehiiv — the newsletter
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
No advertising pixels, no social media trackers, no data brokers.
Your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For the newsletter that means your email address — the only thing we have. Get in touch and we'll take care of it.
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete. We don't sell personal information.
Accessibility
We've built this site to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: it works with a keyboard, works with a screen reader, respects reduced-motion settings, and stays readable when you zoom in.
The booking calendar is built by Vagaro, so we don't control what's inside it. If it gives you trouble, call the shop and we'll book you in over the phone — same appointment, no difference.
If something on this site doesn't work for you, tell us. We'd rather hear about it than not.
